Recovery Methods

The Recovery Officers of BFI have been trained, as required by Reserve Bank of India and they adopt persuasive methods to arrive at settlements by way of compromise, restructuring and sale of assets.

For Resolution

Recommending rehabilitation/restructuring the outstanding
Liquidating assets by way of selling of plant and machinery
Identifying prospective investor for take over /Joint Venture
Enforcing Security Interest Act
Appointing Arbitrator
Liasoning with Official Liquidator/expedite the recovery

For Enforcement 

Inspecting and verifying collateral property

Assisting in taking symbolic/physical possession of the properties
Obtaining CMM/Collector orders for taking physical possession
Identifying buyer and sale of assets

For Recovery 

Meeting/Locating borrowers and guarantors
Recovering the money by persuasion

Helping to trace out/ attaching the assets of borrowers/guarantors
